In the current climate, phone companies around the world are constantly trying to keep their customers safe from scams and spam messages. They have been forced to be on their toes and make continuous changes to filter out suspicious text messages. These changes also affect every company even if you are sending out legitimate text messages.
The changes from phone companies are done fast and at different levels and each company is doing this differently. Additionally every country has their own standard and recommendations that companies are required to follow these conditions make it hard to keep up and to make sure messages reach their destination accurately. A message can be successfully delivered to the phone owner's phone company, but it might not approve of the message content or the sender's phone number. Often the message itself can be a problem, with links, specific words or other phone numbers being blocked by default filters.
In these cases it is not possible for us to know if the message is not actually delivered. Our service provider will give us a status that they have delivered the message successfully to the phone company but in the cases mentioned above, the phone company will not deliver the message to the end user because they have deemed it to be unsafe, spam or scam.
To increase deliverability it is possible, in some countries, to register your name, number and message content, and increase the deliverability to make sure the phone companies will not block the message at the final step of delivery. The process of this is different from country to country as well as the cost.
In some cases it can also be worth it to review the content of your text messages and avoid certain words and links. This can also be different from country to country. If you are worried about the delivery of your text messages please contact us and we will look into the specific regulations that apply in your case.
